Our research library contains a wealth of books, documents, and photographs of historic Yamhill County.

The Yamhill County Historical Society is excited to announce we will be reopening June 4th, on Fridays and Saturdays, 10am-4pm! Farm Fest this year is VIRTUAL ONLY on April 10th from 9:30am-11am on our Facebook and Instagram pages, sorry not open to the public this year. Help raise funds for YCHS by dropping off bottles and cans for our Earth Day fundraiser on Wed., April 14th & 21st, and Sat., April 17th& 24th, 10am-2pm. Directions

From Portland and points north:
Take 99W South from I-5 to the City of Lafayette.
Turn right on Market Street and continue to 6th Street.
The Yamhill County Historical Museum is on the left side of the street, with the Polling Church on the corner of 6th and Market Streets.

From Salem and points south:
Take 99W North to the City of Lafayette.
Turn left on Market Street and follow the directions above.
